Central to all the attractions of the Causeway Coast. Whitepark Bay is within easy walking distance. Ballintoy, Port Braddan, Giant's Causeway, Portballintrae, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Dunseverick Harbour, Dunluce Castle, and Bushmills with its famous distillery (guided tours recommended) are all within a 7 mile radius. Take a short drive to Ballycastle for a day trip on the ferry to Rathlin Island - see the Puffins, seals and other wildlife! Visit the picturesque Mussenden Temple at Downhill. Greencastle in Donegal is a short drive and ferry crossing from Magilligan. This coast is famous for sea angling and surfing.
In May each year about 100,000 people visit the International North West 200 motorcycle road races on the Portrush-Coleraine-Portstewart triangle.
In early September Portrush hosts the annual airshow, another great family event.
Golf courses at Bushmills, Ballycastle, Rathmore and Royal Portrush are all within easy reach.
